just a small tip look at purchasing a PSU of 550W or above, the top end graphics card require their own power direct from the PSU 350/ 450W are pushing it to the extreme if they will work at all....Matt

    Ditto

Inno's site says Inno3D GeForce 9800GT (specs Tab) needs a 'Minimum 500W or greater system power supply (with 12V current rating of 30A)'

    I'd be inclined toward 700W.
Better to have too much than just enough. You never know when you might want to expand into SLi, 2 monitors or re-use it in your next PC. £15 more now is better than £95 next time.

re-built my pc at xmas ( with the help of clocky ) & deffo go for a bigger psu & if it helps, since swapping my cpu, board & psu i have been changed optical drive & added another HDD but both s-ata, but didn't realise only had 1 x s-ata power lead off the psu but easily available is a converter from IDE to s-ata

i am also new to this world but already know i'll never buy a pc off the shelf again
